Islam's visionaries -- never doubt that it has them -- merely peered across the oceans at our progressive surrender to multiculturalism, moral relativism, and the weakening of the American character, and decided that the time had come to strike. Though some of the subsequent events have been showier than the rest, the panorama, from Muslims' demands for workplace accommodations all the way to the destruction of the World Trade Center, displays a unifying theme: We will conquer you, for you are too soft to resist us."
