April Milestones & the Blogging Life Cycle

CAA has seen them come, and seen them go.

From a bare handful of diplomatic bloggers like DiploMad (who's back), the diploblogosphere has swelled to dozens and even hundreds of blogs, ranging from travelogue-like FS family sites to more serious fare.

Sometimes the blogging just stops. Sometimes there's an explanation (too busy, got scared, &tc.) and sometimes the blog just disappears into an error message (as if you got it wrong).

CAA will be joining those ever-growing numbers of former bloggers this week. Do not attempt to adjust your set. The bad man didn't tell me to stop. But CAA is moving to "a position of trust and responsibility with the U.S. Government" and it's just time, at least for awhile.

Be well, be vigilent, be wise and purple and clairvoyant.

CAA - who's going to sharp shoot me now? Sorry to see you go but congrats on moving on to "a position of trust and responsibility with the U.S. Government." I hope it's not a shabby gig. And hope we'll see you around here again sometime.

Take care

Did _no_one_ read their calendar yesterday?

(After all, _every_ FSO _already_ holds "a position of trust and responsibility with the U.S. government.")

Uh-oh! Uh-oh! I had it marked on my forehead so I won't forget. So, if you were to come back blogging a day after you announced leaving to take on a position of trust, etc... well, you did come back. All's well in the world then!

Congrats for staying on your "position of trust ....." until next April.
